This Fortify SAST Learning Series has nine (9) separate lessons. It is recommended you take them in sequential order, though you can choose not to.


Fortify SAST is the Fortify SCA application security testing tool that is comprised of Audit Workbench, Scan Wizard, and more; along with Fortify plugin for your IDEs, Jenkins CI Pipeline, and other supporting technologies that you can use in conjunction with Fortify SSC (Software Security Center) to secure your applications before they go into production.


This Learning Series helps the user to install and configure SAST (Static Application Security Testing) into their IDEs, Pipelines, and the SSC (Software Security Center) platform to include Security early in your development lifecycle. The focus is around providing simple steps to setup Fortify (SSC, SCA, ScanCentral SAST) in a lab environment and showcase the ease of use for scanning statically.

" This five-day course starts with introducing the concepts and usage of the Database and Middleware Automation (DMA) software, continues with detailed use cases of DMA, and finally students learn to modify out-of-the-box (OOTB) flows. DMA is part of Cloud Automation solutions. Working with DMA 10.50 includes using the DMA UI and the DMA runtime engine to locate, run, monitor, author, and deploy automated workflows. This course teaches the skills needed to successfully implement the product to manage small, medium, or large networked enterprises. The course includes training on the NNM i Smart Plug-In (NNM iSPI) Performance for Metrics Software, and NNMi Smart Plug-In Engineering Toolset. The hands-on lab exercises in this course use NNMi software version 10.30. The hands-on lab exercises in this course are performed using an on-demand, cloud-based lab environment, so you can perform the lab exercises on your schedule. You have 60 days from date of purchase to start the lab environment for the first time. Once you start the lab environment, you have 25 hours of running time over a 30-day period to complete the hands-on lab exercises. These labs should take you 15-20 hours. You have full control over stopping and starting your lab environment, which is accessible 24 by 7. Additionally, an NNMi product expert will be assigned to answer any questions regarding the self-paced digital content or the hands-on lab exercises. You have up to 2 hours of phone and email support time. Any questions submitted by email will be answered within 24 hours.
