Description

This is a CI centric approach to ad hoc downtime management. Downtime is started, and can be stopped, by an OMi event which can be generated from anywhere. An EPI script parses the event attributes to drive the downtime REST web service to create/stop a downtime.

A node centric, one-click approach to ad hoc downtime management is also available.

Note: if you are using the Tool to display ad-hoc downtimes, it may not work since EPI script creates downtimes with "ad hoc" prefix, but the downtimes.jsp filter for downtimes with "ad-hoc" prefix. simple fix - just change the EPI script to match the downtimes.jsp or vise-versa.
