The SPI to MP Evolution Tool enables you to move the policy customizations from the OM Smart Plug-ins to the OMi Management Packs.
The SPI customized policies are copied to the OMi Server. The tool first verifies the versions of the Smart Plug-ins for supportability and then uses the SPI to MP Mapping files to create newer versions of MP policy templates with SPI customizations. The tool generates a report that you can use to verify the customizations migrated to MP policies. After verification, you can upload the MP policies to the OMi Server.

The SPI to MP Evolution Tool 1.00 supports moving OM SPI Policy customizations to OMi Policy Templates for the following SPIs:
-- Smart Plug-in for Oracle
-- Smart Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server
-- Smart Plug-in for WebSphere
-- Smart Plug-in for WebLogic
-- Smart Plug-in for Microsoft Active Directory
** Tool supports SPI versions as per Support Matrix of individual SPI.
The tool supports input SPI policies from following versions of OM:
-- OMW 9.x
-- OMU 9.x
The tool can be executed on following versions of OMi:
-- OMi 10.01 (Windows and Linux)
-- OMi 10.10 (Windows and Linux)
