The Dashboard of OPSA based on the Events & Alerts from the Solarwinds.
Do IT Wise is glad to announce the release of Solarwinds integration for OPSA. The integration will gain you the ability to extract Events & Alerts from your Orion Solarwinds server into the OPSA system.
OPSA will help you find the root cause of a problem in your domain based on the Events & Alerts from your Orion Solarwinds. Building the right dashboard for your needs is extremely important when you investigate an issue.
In the dashboard above, you can see 4 different portlets that have been configured to show the Events & Alerts from Solarwinds. So let’s drill down to each portlet:
Upper left portlet – “Event Creation over Time per NodeName”:
In this portlet, you can see the nodes on the Y-axis and the time on the X-axis. The color represents the values from the min to the max value (the darker color). The numbers are the amount of Events that occurred during that period.
Upper right portlet – “Event severity over Time “:In this portlet, there are all the severities and a count of how many Events occurred during the specified time. In the portlet below, we can clearly see that more than 50% of our Events are Warning.
The two lower portlets – “Event Log” and “Alert Log”:Those 2 are basically the same portlets, the only difference is that one represents the Events and the other represents the Alerts. Both portlets show the important details (such as NodeName, Severity, Message text etc…) of an Event or Alert originated from Solarwinds.
