If you are planning to upgrade your current OBM/OMi version to the latest release, this package will provide you four cool tools which will ease your planning exercise.
opr-version-check
You can run this command line tool (based on Perl) on the OBM Gateway Server or Data Processing Server (on Linux or Windows) to determine details about your current deployment, installed Management Packs, Operations Connectors and other integrated products.
Where a component should be upgraded, the tool will provide you information and hints on the steps required. It will also highlight issues with older versions of TLS that can potentially cause problems if not actioned prior to an upgrade.
The tool can also be used in offline mode by providing previously collected information from opr-checker, opr-support-utils and other standard OBM command line utilities. "Classic" OBM deployments starting with OMi10.12 and higher are supported. For further details refer to the ReadMe.txt and PDF document provided in the ZIP file.
Script for checking Browser Flash Player Capability on Windows
Adobe Flash Player is used in older versions of the Operations Bridge products. It is recommended that you upgrade to OBM2020.10/APM9.51 to have Flash-Independent versions of these products. To help verify that your environment works with older versions, this utility can identify whether your browser still supports Flash Player and has it enabled.
Excel-based OBM-Integration Checker
This Excel-based tool will help you with the planning of your key integrations into OBM by visualizing the support matrix information for APM, SiteScope, NNMi, external UCMDB and OO (Operations Orchestration). Please regularly check ITOM Marketplace for the latest revision of this package.
Upgrade Advisor Tools
The Operations Bridge Manager (OBM) Upgrade Adviser tool helps start high-level discussions regarding the two different Upgrade options available of either In-Place or Side-by-Side upgrade. The tool consists of a single web page which can be loaded into your favorite web browser and then based on different scenarios selected a percentage score for an in-place and side-by-side upgrade will be visible. The tool offers advice but ultimately, the final decision is yours.
