Starting version 12.50 all adapters, except IBM RTC, are part of the ALM Synchronizer installation which can be found here ALM Synchronizer It is recommended to use the latest version of ALM Synchronizer, however if you are using versions older than 12.50 you may download specific adapter from this page.

This page describes the existing adapters and include downloads for older versions' adapters.

ALM Synchronizer JIRA Adapter

The JIRA Adapter enables HP ALM Synchronizer users to synchronize data between ALM defects, ALM requirements (as a technical preview), and Atlassian JIRA issues.

Versions Supported

• ALM Synchronizer 1.60 or later

• Atlassian JIRA 6.2.x, 6.3.x, or 6.4.x

• Atlassian JIRA 7.0.x, 7.1.0 (Starting ALM Synchronizer 12.50 Sync Pack 1)

The RTC Adapter enables HP ALM Synchronizer users to synchronize data between ALM defects, ALM requirements, and IBM RTC.

Team Foundation Server (TFS) Adapter

 

Versions Supported

  • HP ALM Synchronizer 1.50
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2013

 

Prerequisites

  • Before installing the TFS Adapter, you must have Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer 2012 and MSSQL 2012 installed. For information on installing Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer, refer to the Microsoft TFS documentation here. 
  • Make sure that HP ALM Synchronizer is installed. For information on downloading and installing the latest Synchronizer, see here. Later versions of HP ALM Synchronizer already include the TFS 2013 adapter and all versions in use should contain at least TFS 2008 and 2010 adapters.

 

Installation Instructions

  1. Verify that the 2013 adapter isn't already included in your installation:
    1. Navigate to the \adapters directory on the Synchronizer Server machine.Tip: The installation directory is usually C:\Program Files\HP\HP ALM Synchronizer. 
    2. If a net2013 folder exists, the TFS 2013 adapter is already installed. Skip to step 5 to register the adapter. 
  2. Right-click HP ALM Synchronizer 1.50 Team Foundation Server (TFS) Adapter 2013,and choose Save Target As. In the Save As dialog box, select a location to save the file on your server machine and click Save.
  3. Unzip the saved file.
  4. Copy the entire, unzipped net2013 folder to the \adapters directory on the Synchronizer Server machine.
  5. Register the adapter: 
    1. Navigate to the \adapters\net2013 directory, 
    2. Run the Register-TFS-Adapter.exe file. 
    3. Restart the Synchronizer service.
