The certificate application is designed to automate the process of monitoring and managing the life cycle of a certificate from acquisition and deployment to tracking renewal, usage, and expiration of all certificates deployed within an organization. This process provides complete visibility and control over the certificate within the organization and helps prevent security breaches, outages, and compliance issues.
The application consists of four offerings. For each offering, if the requestor is an admin, the request is automatically approved and moves to the Fulfilment phase. Otherwise, the request is assigned to the certificate admins group who can review and approve the request before it can be fulfilled.
