What's new in OO Service Management Automation - X 4.0.0

Enhancements

  • New tokenType input added to the Get SSO Token operation. To access the new authentication API endpoint, available in SMAX 2020.11 and later, make sure that the tokenType input is set to its default value: “token’’. To continue accessing the old endpoint available in previous SMAX versions, change the tokenType input to “login” instead.

Deprecations

  • The HCM folder and HCM related flows, previously available under Library/Integrations/Micro Focus/Service Management Automation x/Integrations/HCM, were removed from the content pack.

Compared to version 3.1.2 of the content pack following has changed:

Micro Focus SMAX to Micro Focus HCM integration:

  • Added Change Control for HCM requests by using external approval policy. HCM can now delegate an approval to SMAX and wait until the Change Request is approved to proceed with provisioning of the request.

Micro Focus SMAX to Micro Focus ALM Octane integration:

  • It is now possible to pass the ALM Octane project ID as parameter to the flow.
